Au programme : les Scènes de la forêt de Robert Schumann, des œuvres du compositeur contemporain György Kurtág, ainsi qu’une sélection d’extraits de Leoš Janáček. Grâce à ces associations librement choisies, les trois compositeurs se mettent mutuellement en valeur, offrant une expérience d’écoute originale et évocatrice. This Sunday, to celebrate the arrival of spring and the release of her new album, pianist Laurence Mekhitarian presents a thoughtfully curated programme. Saije is an award-winning Australian indie folk duo known for their soulful harmonies, dynamic guitar work, and percussive playing style that brings emotional storytelling to life.  They gained national recognition after being named Folk Alliance Australia’s Young Artist of the Year (2019–2021) and have toured extensively across Australia, Canada, Europe, and the UK.

David Strauss is a Berlin-based journalist, art critic, and musicologist. He writes on contemporary art and music, with a focus on cultural context and aesthetic discourse. A prolific collector of albums and musical trivia, he will be bringing selections from his sonic treasures, exploring the relationship between sound, image, and critical interpretation.

Serge Casto, est un artiste et pianiste basé à Paris. Invité par Familiar Strangers, il a réinventé la boutique en poissonnerie, inspirée par les habitants à qui l’on avait demandé ce qu’ils souhaitaient dans leur quartier. Ses dessins en direct - pastel, crayon et acrylique - capturent des performeurs, principalement issus du cabaret et du théâtre, en mouvement, mêlant geste, rythme et lieu.

Serge Casto is an artist and pianist based in Paris. Invited by Familiar Strangers, he reimagined the shop as a fishmonger’s (poissonnerie), inspired by local residents who were asked what they would like to see in their neighbourhood. His live drawings - pastel, pencil, and acrylic - capture performers, mainly from cabaret and theatre, in motion, blending gesture, rhythm, and place.
